On Thursday afternoon, customers, business associates and former employees stopped by Odinsvej in Ringsted. Veltec is headquartered here.
Yesterday, the company was able to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
It has a lot to do with us entering a niche. We know something that many others don’t have any knowledge of,” says CEO Gert Nielsen.
He believes that the service company’s many years of industrial service can be attributed to good and stable service.
“We have a slogan: “We do not leave the customer in the lurch” If an industrial company has a production apparatus or something that breaks down, it wants it up and running again as soon as possible. We can help them with that,” says Gert Nielsen.
Back in the day, the company settled in Ringsted due to its central location. That logic still makes good sense.
“Among other things, we do maintenance at all of Ørsted’s power plants in Zealand,” says the CEO, who can state how the market is significantly larger than just the Danish one.
“Scandinavia is our main market, where 90-95 percent of our tasks are located. This summer we have a task in Angola. We have also been to the US and UK. The last market is not that big, so Brexit does not hit us hard,” he says.
