Fibreglass

A specific competence at Veltec’s plastics department is work with fibreglass. Our skills cover both epoxy as well as vinyl ester resin.

The types of thermosetting plastics vary widely depending on the application in which the items are to be included. Depending on whether the product must have high strength, chemical resistance or heat resistance.

Over the last many years, fibreglass has shown its applicability in the industry with the higher requirements for resistance, strength, flexibility, lifetime cost and low weight.

Veltec has employees who have specialized and are certified in performing work with glassfibre. It includes gluing and laminating work on pipe systems, chimney liners, platforms, structures, stairs.
