The Danish service company Veltec has been sold by the Danish private equity fund Triton to the German Plant Systems & Services PSS GmbH.
Veltec has around 180 employees in Denmark and is head quartered in Ringsted with branches in Kalundborg and Frederikssund.
However, despite the sale to the German group, there is no immediate danger that Veltec will move away from Denmark.
“At present, I am not aware of any plans of changing our business after the sale to Plant Systems & Services PSS GmbH. I do not think that the sale will have any significance either for our employees or for our customers here in Denmark, as it is a matter of some shares changing hands. I also have no reason to believe that our current business is to be changed radically,” says Veltec’s CEO Gert Nielsen.
