The agreement covers maintenance work and minor modifications within mechanical and electrical services for Equinor’s refinery at Mongstad.
Veltec and Equinor have signed an extension of the existing framework agreement, the extension expires in 2022. It includes execution of maintenance work and minor modifications within electrical, automation and mechanical work.
Equinor’s refineries, process plants and terminals are processing plants and transport hubs whose task is to refine crude oil and natural gas into consumer products such as petrol, diesel, heating oil and natural gas ready for delivery to end customers. A reliable value chain for oil and gas is important to provide consumers with a secure and stabile energy supply, which is necessary to create economic growth. Safe and efficient facilities therefore play a very important role when it comes to keep society going.
